The ferry is run by the Mabuhay Maritime Express, although fast, it is by no means the cheapest way from Kalibo to Boracay.  This is a very expensive method of transport with a single ticket costing around ₱750.

Once you arrive at Caticlan Jetty, take a small bangka or boat that will take you directly to Boracay island. Travel time is 10-20 minutes, and costs ₱250.

Option 4: Kalibo to Boracay Van / Taxi / Private Car

Another option to reach Boracay is to take a private van from Kalibo to Boracay or a private car from Kalibo to Boracay.  To do this, you can pre arrange or when you come out of the airport, you’ll come across stalls where different tour operators offer a transfer service from Kalibo to Boracay.  The private transfer will take you to Caticlan Jetty, and from there you can take a boat directly to the island.

This is an excellent option if it’s your first time travelling to the island, or if you’re travelling with children or elderly. Just be mindful of the operators you’re dealing with as some of them may top off the original price.
