As mentioned above, there is no direct ferry to Siargao from Cebu. You will first need to go to Surigao and change ferries there. This is the same if you’re looking for a car ferry from Cebu to Siargao.

To reach Cebu Port, from the main city center, you are best to take a taxi.

Make your way to Manuel Quezon Boulevard, and if you plan to take the Starlite Ferry, proceed to Pier 3. Meanwhile, if you prefer hop on one of the Cokaliong ferries, go to Cebu City’s Pier 1.

Another option is to take the Medallion Transport, but it has fewer departures, sailing only every Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Once you arrive in Surigao, head to Eva Macapagal Passenger Terminal, the main ferry terminal in Surigao City. Since there are no taxis here, hire a tricycle for a special trip to take you to the terminal. This trip will cost around ₱60.

The facilities of the port are well-maintained and clean, it is also fully air conditioned, and a free WiFi connection for passengers. Restrooms are also mostly clean, and there are food kiosks inside the terminal.

The Port of Dapa in Siargao is the principal maritime gateway to the popular surfing island destination in the Philippines. This is the entry point going to Siargao Island and the terminal that you need to go to if you’re heading back to Surigao City.

The port includes a wharf and pier with a total length of 130 meters. The port itself is quite small, but it has clean facilities like restrooms, and free wifi, too. You can purchase on-site tickets and online tickets here as well.
