As mentioned above, there is no direct ferry to Siargao from Cebu. You will first need to take a ferry from Cebu to Surigao and change ferries there. This is the same if you’re looking for a car ferry from Cebu to Siargao.
The main ferry operator that travels the Cebu-Surigao route is Starlite Ferries. They depart every evening and arrive in Surigao City the next morning. Cokaliong Shipping also serves this route.

Part 1: Cebu to Surigao
The Cebu to Siargao ferry schedule 2023 has an overnight ferry Cebu to Siargao leaves Cebu City around 9pm in the evening then arrives at Surigao City at around 7am. This means the ferry takes about ten hours.

At the time of publishing, this ferry runs at 10am and 3pm, but this does change depending on the time of year.

As we’ve mentioned, there is no direct night ferry from Cebu to Siargao. So, you need to take two separate ferries.
Part 1: Cebu to Surigao

Cebu Port

To reach Cebu Port, from the main city centre, you are best to take a taxi.
Make your way to Manuel Quezon Boulevard, and if you plan to take the Starlite Ferry, proceed to Pier 3. Meanwhile, if you prefer hop on one of the Cokaliong ferries, go to Cebu City’s Pier 1.
Once you arrive at the port, walk directly to the ticket office of the ferry company that you chose.
Be sure to arrive well in advance to make sure you don’t miss your ferry.
Surigao Port

Once you arrive in Surigao, you’ll already be at the terminal you need to be at for your next ferry on to Siargao.
The facilities of the port are well-maintained and clean, it is also fully air conditioned, and a free WiFi connection for passengers. Restrooms are also mostly clean, and there are food kiosks inside the terminal.
Siargao Port

The Port of Dapa in Siargao is the principal maritime gateway to the popular surfing island destination in the Philippines. This is the entry point for Siargao Island and the terminal that you need to go to if you’re heading back to Surigao City.
The port includes a wharf and pier with a total length of 130 metres. The port itself is quite small, but it has clean facilities like restrooms and free wifi. You can purchase on-site tickets and online tickets here as well.
Once you arrive at the terminal, hire a habal-habal or tricycle going to General Luna (or vice versa) where most of the accommodations, hotels, and restaurants are located.
